Tina Lever at McComb Witten says she feels she affects the bottom line by opening the clients files. After the lawyer and/or case manager meets with a new client, I get the intake from them. From there I deal with ICBC regularly to get all the correct information and get the file opened (both paper file and documents in the computer) for the lawyers and assistants to start working on. I request police/ambulance/hospital records from the accident date. I also write out introduction letter to the client’s family doctors and request the client’s income tax returns, and send out letters to the client thanking them for hiring us. I also send the client a copy of every letter I send out, so they know their case is being worked on in a prompt matter.
